Separate the local guide from the destination
The character planner on Hello, You builds text inside this page. It does not submit that text to WantYou.ai. Following the external link opens another website, where account, chat, and payment practices are governed by that service. Copying a brief puts text on your clipboard; pasting and sending it elsewhere is a separate action you choose.
Use a four-part data map
| Data | Question to answer | What would count as useful evidence? |
|---|---|---|
| Chat messages | Who may process them, for what purposes, and for how long? | A current policy section addressing conversations and retention. |
| Saved memories or profile facts | Can I inspect, correct, or remove individual facts? | A documented control you can find in your account. |
| Uploaded images or audio | Are these handled differently from text? | Media-specific terms, visibility settings, and deletion information. |
| Account and billing information | Which organization or payment channel holds it? | The account policy, receipt, and cancellation instructions. |
Read the named policies without assuming the result
Start with WantYou.ai’s privacy policy, content moderation policy, and safety guidelines. Look for access, service providers, moderation, retention, export, deletion, and contact routes. If a document fails to load, treat those questions as unresolved; do not interpret the missing page as a privacy guarantee.
This guide does not certify that a provider offers end-to-end encryption, anonymous use, or immediate erasure. A feature description or reassuring sentence is not a substitute for a clear explanation of the relevant data flow.
Ask which deletion you are performing
Removing a visible message, deleting a saved fact, closing an account, and cancelling renewal may involve different controls. Before a destructive action, save material you are entitled to keep and read the scope of that action. Ask about retained records or backups when the policy leaves them unclear. A character saying “I forgot” is not evidence that stored data was erased.
Use fictional details for your first checks
Try the interface with a made-up character and an invented scene. Leave out passwords, exact addresses, financial identifiers, and private information about other people. This does not make a service anonymous; it simply lets you assess the experience without supplying those details.
Keep one unresolved-question list
Download the data-control checklist. Record the policy date, the section you read, and what still needs an answer. For this guide’s own external fonts, images, and local tools, read Site data use.
